a maximalist 58 page comic about a fucked-up found family in 1973 san francisco, all centering around the nucleus of a neighborhood pharmacy that doubles as a booming drug operation. meet fast joey, a loudmouthed, one-legged brooklynese street hustler, julian, a blue-blooded escapee from a nightmarish mental institution whos as sickly as he is sweet, eli, an emotionally unavailable german-jewish immigrant, unlicensed pharmacist and reformed junkie, and bertha, the pharmacy's maternal and amoral owner. things go sideways when a kid ods in the pharmacy bathroom on elis shift and joey is trapped in a motel room with a speedfreak amputee fetishist. drawn in 2025.
